Where Do You Sleep? Ou Dormez -Vous

This is an ongoing project stemming from the 2015 exhibition I co-curated taking a different approach to homelessness, Ou Dormez-Vous/Where Do You Sleep? The concept was not to show or exploit the homeless themselves but to show where they actually spent the night or give an impression of same. The exhibition featured 10 photographers exhibiting between 2- 4 images each and was displayed at Montréal’s City Hall in November of that year. Below are my images from the exhibition plus a selection of others in this ongoing series, the most recent showing an image of a squatter’s home, mid-demolition, with the graphic novel pages jammed into the wall for insulation. 85% of the sale price for any work in this series will go to the Chez Doris Shelter for Women
